Hiking @ Choi Hung

Never again... well maybe...

Since all my friends are spending their spring break in Shanghai and those beautiful neighbouring cities... i'm in HK touring like a tourist. Yesterday my local friend Wyman took me and his friend Karen to a tremendously long hiking trail. The view though was amazing because as we walked the mountain we could see every part of HK... our school, Sai King, Hong Kong Island... the view was worth the 2 hour hike. Along the mountain there are stops where people have written stories, set up shrines to worship their idols, there are even excercise bikes... odd. My friends told me that elderly people usually stop at these little huts and have tea. During our first 20 minutes of hiking we met a guy who apparently is always on the mountain playing his music. When we departed from him we could still hear his music when we were high up in the mountain... it was just as Wyman's dad had depicted. Haha. The hike was great, we stopped here and there to look inside the huts and we ate an orange. The pace was great... if i was with my European friends I think i would have been left behind! Afterwards we went to Wyman's house to eat dinner... AAHH HOME COOKED FOOD! The food was soo good; better than any Chinese Restaurant.

Note: The first picture is called The Book of Hong Kong: named by Wyman because it looks like a book and "Hong Kong is opened to you." - direct quote
