Look at this awesome cake Janice made!! The best part of this night was not only being with my schulich friends but it was ALL YOU CAN EAT JAP and we got 20% off for no apparent reason AND we got to humiliate Karen because behind us was a great huge flat screen and they put on the Karaoke song Happy Birthday in English, Cantonese and Mandarin!

Dixie, you've come back to me...

I thought Dixie Value Mall was dead... definitely a write-off after going there after school (about a 30 minute drive in total) countless times to find just garbage.

I went to just check it out quickly since I didn't want to go home after dropping my brother off at Chinese School and moreover it was close by. Garage which has made a glorious comeback in my books... they had one rack with spring sale just for me.

Scoreboard:

black Bermuda shorts - $3
Khaki Bermuda shorts - $3
A pair of cameo capri's for sister - $3

CRAZY DEALS! And the defect is so small you would never find it...

Warm Weather = Stupid People

Harsh title isn't it... well this is exactly what flows through my head...

Well Gable and I had an interesting conversation a few days ago on how today (thursday) would be a warm day reaching 14 degrees. We joked around about how we would see girls in short mini skits with UGGS, tank tops and fur jackets, bermuda shorts and fur jackets... very senseless outfits! We were talking about tallying up all the ridiculous outfits that we would see... he was actually joking however I on the other hand was not... next time i'll take photos because only a photo can capture the greatest memories... The weather channels were right and even with a little wind and little rain i felt the humidity right when i came out of the bus. My tallying began ... within the few minutes i walked into York Lanes for a coffee and saw a girl with a mini skirt and a t-shirt... close enough even though she wasn't wearing UGGS.... the second nonsensical outfit and the winner of them all...in the basement of the schulich building... a girl wearing a tube top and a shawl... DING DING DING you win. I should have taken a picture. I saw the typical shorts and fur jacket and high knee boots which i can forgive but i mean TUBE TOP and SHAWL that doesn't even make sense to me.

Please ladies; just because it's merely 14 degrees outside it doesn't call for a beach party. I'm waiting for someone to wear flip flops soon.

Fellow GO BUS RIDERS!

I have been a GO BUS commuter for 4 years now and you would think the virtue of kindness and consideration exist or at least improve over the years, but reality always puts us back INTO REALITY and of course once in a while you get those rude, "i'm worthy of 2 seats on the bus because look at all these things i'm carrying" type of people.

After my tax lecture which i get out right at 2:30pm, i immediately ran to the bus stop in hopes of catching the 2:30 bus and it was great because that run was worth it: for my heart/exercise and for the sake of not having to wait another 15 minutes. The bus was nearly full with probably 4-5 seats remaining and i like to sit at the front of the bus so i can get out quick. So this one girl was reading some notes or something and she sat on the aisle seat ... i'm pretty sure she thought like most people that "If i sit on the aisle, i have a better chance of having 2 seats; and i don't have to share with anyone and in the end i have more space...etc." Sometimes I wonder: Why the heck do you ppl sit on the aisle seat and pretend to be so preoccupied when they know others who are walking on to the bus need a seat. Why not sit by the window so you don't have to move... Well i had to ask her the stupid question to keep my composure: "is anyone sitting there?" Of course i knew no one was... and she grunted and said NO! and moved aside. Well... i'm sorry for imposing on your precious space where you ended up putting your notes away after 2 minutes to sleep... gosh why are people so inconsiderate; I TOO paid the $135 a month to ride this bus. I was actually going to be a smart ass and say exactly what i thought but as everyone knows i'm usually all talks! I wouldn't have any face afterwards.
