Schulich Formal May 28th, 2007

Well my time at Schulich is officially over... the last time I'll be in the building is likely to be Friday June 15th, the day of my convocation. It was a beautiful night at the Arcadian Court (something like that) on Bay Street where we all took photos, danced and laughed at the very irritated waiters and waitresses! For some reason the student council likes to do this Teacher Excellence Award where the students nominate their favourite professor...except all the professors that were nominated were taught MBA courses and I only knew one of them (and she didn't win! boo urns) Anyways during the announcements regarding the award and during the Dean's extremely dull speech, my table (Jill, Asad, Karen, Janice, Melissa, Lynne, Gable and I) was playing with the center piece... you can do many things with a long flower that looks like a horn!

Schulich Girls BBQ May 28th, 2007

I still have tons of posts to make ... ie) FORMAL, TACB Reunited Part IV, Plans on Part V, Karen and Brian's Wedding Pics of Benita and I haha, Connie and Andy's Wedding...

Anyways i'll start with what i can remember which is my most recent Schulich Girls Outing! The last time we had seen each other altogether was Formal which was in April so it was awesome to be with my girls. It was a relaxed time of eating (organic burgers, salad, potatoe salad, grilled vegetables) and a lot of booze that no one really touched, but everyone loved the strawberry/cranberry cocktail juice. BTW Mel: you left your margarita juice at my house! I should give it back to you. Jill kindly left her premium beer for my dad which was much appreciated by him! Anyways it was a great time to catch up, reminisce on exchange memories and talk about future getaways with each other (even if it's for an afternoon). We're all getting so busy and we still live far from each other which is why i'm cherishing every living moment that i have with them. I know in September when everyone begins to work or move away it will be bittersweet.

The night had a wonderful ending of a delicious oreo cheesecake that was created and designed by the Mels for a surprise mini birthday celebration for Lynne. HAPPY 22nd Birthday!!!
We continued to talk about cosmetic surgery and the horror stories of what ppl do to themselves followed by a time of chatter in my driveway while we looked at fabi's new car and then ventured to Bubble Republic for some unnecessary bubble tea! (Still tasted good to the lips)

I love you girls

Long Over Due

Well, as expected...

I have not picked up a needle, a piece of fabric or any thread in a means to further my goal in learning how to sew... quite disappointed in myself but I underestimated school and work. Oh i also neglected my personal goal to be more fit ... that was a failure. BUT!!! I'm still happy that the weather is great, i still get enough sleep and take my occasional naps. I officially found my napping spot at home. It's not my bed or in front of the tv...

It's on the dining room sofa where i read my cost accounting and information systems textbook!
